How to use
- Paste a list with one item per line.
- Pick options such as ignoring letter case or surrounding spaces.
- The cleaned list appears on the right with a count of removed lines.
- Open the duplicate report to see which lines repeated and how often.
How it works
Lines are compared exactly unless you ask the tool to ignore case or leading and trailing spaces. The original order is kept; you can choose whether the first or the last copy of each line survives. Empty lines can be removed at the same time.
Limitations
- Line endings are normalised to a single line feed (\n) in the output.
Privacy
Your text is processed entirely in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, logged or saved by this tool.
Local processing protects your data from being uploaded, but it cannot protect against a compromised device or malicious browser extensions.
